ITINERARY:
Day-1 Arrival at Leh Arrive at Leh. Acclimatize & later, visit Shanti Stupa & Leh palace. O/n at hotel in Leh.ITINERARY:
Day-2 Leh- Kargil Today, drive to Kargil (230 km/ 8 hrs). Enroute visit Gurudwara Paththar Sahib, Magnetic Hill (where you will find your car moving upward on slope with its engine turned off) , Kali temple & Sangam- the place where Indus river & Zanska river meet. Enroute, also visit Lamaryu (120 km)- a place known for monaestry, and for its Lunar Landscape- popularly known as Moonscapes for tourists. O/n at hotel in Kargil.
Day-2 Kargil- Leh Today, we pay pay tribute to Vijay Samarak (dedicated to Indian soldiers who laid their lives for us during Kargil). Later, drive back to Leh. Enroute visit Alchi moneastry. O/n at hotel in Leh.
Day-3 Leh- Nubra Valley via Khardungla Travel to Nubra valley (135 kms/ 4 hrs ) via Khardungla Pass. Khardungla is the highest motorable road in the world (18,379 sq ft). Check-in at your camp. Rest of the day for leisure. Enjoy the beauty of sand dunes & double hamp camel. O/n at camp in Nubra valley.
Day-4 Excursion to Turtuk Today, make an excursion to Turtuk village (90 km/ 3.5 hrs). (India won this village in 1971 war & very close to border). Visit a 16th Century Mosque, (comprising of a touch of Turkish & Iranian culture), ruined fort of Dhards and Monastery. Enjoy the magnificent view of the famous K2 peak (The second highest peak in the world after Mount Everest). O/n at camp in Nubra Valley.
Day-3 Leh- Nubra Valley via Khardungla Travel to Nubra valley (135 kms/ 4 hrs ) via Khardungla Pass. Khardungla is the highest motorable road in the world (18,379 sq ft). Check-in at your camp. Day-5 Nubra Valley/Hunder- Diskit- Pangong Lake Today, visit Diskit Monaestry- the oldest & largest in Nubra valley. Later, drive to Pangong lake (270 km/ 8 Hrs). The aquatic colour of the lake surrounded by panaarmoic landsacpe will put you in awe. O/n at camp on Pangong Lake. O/n at hotel in Leh.
Day-6 Pangong- Tsomoriri Lake Today, proceed to Tsomoriri lake (330 km/ 10 hrs) via Tsangla Pass. Tsomoriri lake is the breeding ground for numerous species of birds and other wildlife. O/n at camp in Tsomoriri lake.
Day-7 Tsomoriri Lake- Leh Explore beauty of the lake and surrounding area. Later drive to Leh (230 km/ 7 hrs). O/n at hotel in Leh.
Day-6 Pangong- Tsomoriri Lake Today, proceed to Tsomoriri lake (330 km/ 10 hrs) via Tsangla Pass. Tsomoriri lake is the breeding ground for numerous species of birds and other wildlife. O/n at camp in Tsomoriri lake.
Day-7 Tsomoriri Lake- Leh Explore beauty of the lake and surrounding area. Later drive to Leh (230 km/ 7 hrs). O/n at hotel in Leh.
Day-8 Departure Drop at Leh airport. Tour ends.
